With the help of Exxon's supplier diversity program, FAB INDUSTRIES, INC. today is one of the Houston's leading fabricators of Meter Tubes, Full Skid Production Units and ASME Coded Vessels. The supplier program helped the company get their feet in the door with customers and help teach FAB INDUSTRIES, INC. how to do business.

By receiving a 100 hours of instruction in the program,co-founder Mike Gonzales learned proper business techniques including bank financing, work place safety, and how to comply with environmental regulations. With the Exxon's help and Bridget and Mike's hard work, FAB INDUSTRIES INC has turned from a small entrepreneurial business to a multimillion dollar operation.

Mike Gonzales the founder of FAB INDUSTRIES, INC. has been honored as "Businessman of the year" by the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and awarded "Vendor of the Year" several times by major FORTUNE 100 companies.

As of 2009, Mike's son Jeff Gonzales, a graduate of Baylor University, has taken over the business making sure that FAB INDUSTRIES, INC. continues in its excellence.
